Ramallah: 22 graduates from the PMRS School of Community Health excelled on their examination. 9 of them graduated with the title of “Very Good” and 1 of them received Honors.
The number of graduates of the School of Community Health at the national level is now 340 community health workers.
Dr. Abdullah Abu Abu Sharara the Director of School of Community Health praised the role of community health workers as active members in the process and system of primary health care, prevention, early detection and dealing with medical cases from all age groups. In addition to this, their role is essential in strengthening and raising the health awareness to different social groups, such as women, children, elderly, and those with special needs through home visits, follow-up, health education, and school health.
Dr. Abu Sharara also stated that this Palestinian model that was developed by PMRS and is appreciated and valued at the global, regional and national levels. He also stated that the School of Community Health is unique to this specialty in Palestine and the region.
He expressed his congratulations to the graduates and their parents on their success.
